ESPN commissioned me to design a poster commemorating the Chicago Cubs' historic journey to the 2016 World Series. The illustration ran in a feature on ESPN.com alongside work from nine other Chicago artists and designers. It was a huge and humbling honor to be involved in such a historic event. Jessica and I lived a few blocks from Wrigley Field the summer after we met, so I've always had a sentimental connection to that neighborhood, and I wanted to capture that sense of community in my poster, particularly through the iconic rooftop bleachers that surround the stadium.
Prints of the poster, measuring 11" x 17" and printed on textured thick card stock, are available for $20 from the Streeting Design store. They ship flat, accompanied by postcards and other random goodies.
